    Responsibilities

    • Prepare construction ready plans for installation (commercial projects)

    • Provide timely updates for drawing completion and workload

    • Coordinate with other colleagues and customers

    • Developing permittable plan sets for clients which include construction details, plan and elevation views, title page, standard details, Bill of Materials, sheet index etc.

    • Working closely with senior designers and management in order to achieve the above

    • Addressing redline comments and plan check comments

    • Maintaining a clean, organized and current data base and file structure

    • Meeting deadlines

    • Research parts/equipment for detailed information to include into the drawing package

    • Research, develop and retain building code requirements of multiple city and counties

    Qualifications

    • Some AutoCAD experience

    • Deadline and detail-oriented

    • High level of aptitude and learning ability

    • Comfortable working alone, in a team environment and under pressure

    • Ability to multi-task between several projects in a timely, seamlessly and thorough manner

    • Problem solving capabilities

    • Ability to take both written and verbal direction

    • Possess basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe, AutoCAD – Xrefs, viewports, scaling and sheet sets are encouraged but not required

    • Effective time management skills

    • Motivated to learn new skills and topics

    Are you looking for a part time job that works early hours and allows you to work your "normal" job? HetNet is hiring a Radio Support team member to assist us with in-building coverage testing for buildings in San Mateo County. The shift is early (3 AM to 7 AM, Monday through Friday).

    Job Description: The successful candidate will provide support by communicating on a radio to assist our on-site technicians to record the signal strength and measure audio quality for first responder radio frequencies.

    This is a great opportunity for a college student, anyone wanting to start a career in field services or looking for supplemental income. A college degree is not required.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

    Full Job Description

    We are looking for a talented and highly motivated individual to assist with Emergency Responder Radio Coverage (ERRC) testing. We need someone with a lot of energy, desire to have an immediate impact and has the potential to grow with the team.

    This is an entry level position and could be a very good fit for a recent college graduate or former military entering the civilian world.

    Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will perform a wide variety of technical activities related to the testing and configuration of RF communications systems commonly deployed within a building to support two-way radios, cellular phones and wireless data services.

    This position is distinguished by need for a high aptitude for learning, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and must have a proven desire for self-growth. Candidates should also demonstrate strong leadership skills.

    The daily tasks of the Wireless Field Technician include, but are not limited to:

    1. Perform Emergency Responder Radio Coverage (ERRC) tests to determine radio coverage for First Responders

    2. Benchmark testing for the wireless carriers’ coverage (ATT, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, etc.)

    3. Create reports based on the data collected to be presented to local fire agencies.

    Qualifications

    Duties include the ability to read and understand floor plans and maps, utilizes software and specialized tools to assist with system testing, document radio frequency (RF) coverage and site surveys, perform related duties and responsibilities as required.

    1. Associates Degree or military experience in telecommunications technology, preferred but not required.

    2. Ability to self-perform with limited management supervision

    3. Able to pass a physical exam and drug screening

    4. Strong customer service skills
