Established in 2013, we saw a need in the wireless market for a passionate, professional, technical team to help assist building owners with the headaches of poor in-building wireless coverage. Our Team

  • Bryan Kemper, Founder & Managing Partner

    With 20 years of experience, Bryan is the Founder and Managing Partner of HetNet, where he now leads an industry-best team that specializes in first responder radio coverage design, testing, engineering, maintenance, and system monitoring. Prior to founding HetNet, Bryan shepherded several successful technology-based ventures, co-founded SOLiD USA, a nationwide wireless communications operation, and developed business strategies for emerging companies in the U.S. and Latin America. In his free time, Bryan enjoys traveling, coaching his son’s basketball team, and rooting for his alma mater, The University of Florida. Go Gators!

  • Mike Patee, Partner & Head of Operations

    Mike has been a member of HetNet since 2013, and his technical certifications include iBwave Level 3 and a FCC General Radio Operator’s License. During his career, Mike’s team has produced more than 2,500 designs and propagation models; currently, his team produces iBwave propagation models, as-build DAS designs, and mounting details. He is also responsible for Bill of Materials and RF link budget calculations for both wireless carriers and first responders. In his free time, Mike enjoys competing in triathlons. He’s an Ironman finisher, and when he’s not training, he’s spending time outdoors with his wife and daughters.

  • Matt Brown, Partner & Head of Sales

    Matt has been with HetNet since 2015. Prior, Matt spent 20 years at the forefront of the wireless technology field at Talley Communications where he was the second-highest performing Consultant Representative. As the lead of HetNet sales and consulting, Matt earned his FCC GROL license and founded an ERRCS Committee under the California Automatic Fire Alarm Association, helping him create ERRC solution recommendations for more than 200 businesses. When not at work, Matt is an avid mountaineer. Currently, he’s attempting to summit 28 Cascade Mountain Volcanoes and plans to begin volunteering with local search and rescue teams.

  • Ken Mitchell, Manager of Design Services

    Ken has been a member of the HetNet team since 2016. As Manager of Design Services, Ken is responsible for communicating with the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) in order to achieve a comprehensive and thoroughly submittal set. He’s dedicated to working alongside clients throughout the design process in order to provide a tailored customer experience that meets deadlines and exceeds expectations. When he’s not providing positive customer experiences, Ken enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking, golfing, traveling, and listening to live music.

  • Brandon Maderos, Manager

    Brandon joined the HetNet team in 2021. As the Manager of Field Operations, Brandon is responsible for all Field Engineering and Testing duties. His team ensures all installed ERCES systems are compliant in accordance with Federal, State and local laws. He is responsible for establishing and meeting ERCES project timelines, and working with clients and contractors to ensure project completion. He also oversees all required Annual Inspection and Testing compliance. Brandon is a U.S. Navy Veteran, who enjoys hunting, golfing and spending time with his family outdoors.
