Travel Bans Lifted in NYC/NJ After Storm

Roads in NYC have reopened and the Staten Island Ferry Service has resumed as of 7:30 this morning.

New Jersey has lifted its travel ban in all 21 counties, deeming the roads “still dangerous” but “passable.” Regional rail service has resumed, though some tracks remain covered in snow. The storm fell short of its predicted record-breaking snowfall, as the storm passed through the area more quickly than anticipated. Parts of New England into Maine could receive up to an additional foot of snow today, as the storm moves northeast.
