With an effective date of January 1, 2014, the State of California has adopted the 2013 California Fire Code (California Code of Regulations, Title 24, Part 9), based on the 2012 International Fire Code. Section 510 of the 2013 California Fire Code regulates Emergency Responder Radio Coverage in new buildings.
